Simone is a professional freelance illustrator with a background in graphic design. Before pursuing illustration full-time, she worked as a graphic designer for a market research company. After dedicating a year to developing their artistic style, she signed with Advocate Art Agency and began illustrating books across a range of genres, from children’s picture books to young adult fiction, including the award-winning title The Lizzie and Belle Mysteries.

Simone has been working in the industry for several years, drawing creative inspiration from a lifelong love of traditional Disney films, animated TV shows and movies, and video games, all of which have helped and continue to shape her artistic style.

Outside of illustration, Simone enjoys gardening, finding joy in growing her garden and spending time in nature.
